I'm sending
you this letter with
all
due respect from one of America's prisons with hope that it finds you well
in health and spirit. I've got something I want to share with you, something
I hope will be good news to you.
First, I'd
like to render you one of the most sincere apologies a man can offer. I
humbly apologize for any transgression a prisoner has made against you. If
he failed to seek your forgiveness, I pray that you accept my humble apology
and forgive me. I also pray that this be the end of your burden and the
commence of healing from this day forward. Scripture tells us that we will
be judged according to our own actions, so you will be accountable if you
don't forgive me. (Matthew 6:14-15, Colossians 3:13)
I hope you
find this meaningful coming from a prisoner who hasn't had the opportunity
to apologize for all past transgressions. We are not told to forget, but we
must forgive and let the healing begin.
Now, with
that in mind, I invite you to fellowship with a prisoner - through
corresponding. If you feel this call to help uplift a lonely prisoner,
please sign up with Christian Pen Pals to get a pen pal who has asked for
friendship/fellowship.
In closing, I pray that God continue to bless your endeavors.
Thank you.
In Christ,
Scott
